*Set-Up / Troubleshooting (Mazak Slant Turn Preferred)*
Shift:2nd Shift3:00 PM1:30 AM, MondayThursday
Overtime:Optional Fridays; occasional mandatory on Friday and Saturday as business needs require
Pay Range:$24-30 per hour (based on experience) plus shift differentialCNC Machinist Position Summary
The CNC Machinist independently sets up, troubleshoots, and operates CNC machines to produce precision components that meet print and quality specifications. This role requires strong machining knowledge, light program editing, and the ability to perform changeovers with minimal supervision.CNC Machinist Key Responsibilities
Perform full machineset-ups and changeovers
Independentlytroubleshoot machine, tooling, and program issues
Make offsets and performlight program editsat the machine
Read blueprints and setup sheets
Select tooling and verify feeds/speeds
Inspect parts using measuring tools to ensure specifications
Monitor machine performance and correct defects
Maintain accurate production counts and safe work area
CNC Machinist Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or GED
5+ years CNC machining experience
Proven setup and switchover experience
Strong troubleshooting ability
Ability to work independently
Experience with light program editing
CNC Machinist Preferred Qualifications
Experience withMazak Slant Turn CNC machines
Lathe experience in a production environment
