Sales Associate

Sales Associate Job Description: As a Sales Associate, you will be the frontline of our business, actively engaging with customers to provide them with the best shopping experience possible. You will assist in the pricing and merchandising of products, maintain store cleanliness, and contribute to a positive and energetic store environment. Responsibilities: - Greet customers and assess their needs to recommend suitable products - Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, as well as policies regarding payment, exchanges, and security practices - Arrange and display merchandising to attract customers and promote specific products or sales - Assist in pricing items based on their condition and market value - Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system - Maintain cleanliness and order in the store, ensuring it is always inviting to customers - Resolve customer complaints in a professional manner and direct them to the manager when necessary - Participate in inventory checks and restocking as required Qualifications: - Previous retail or customer service experience preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends. - Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management - Ability to lift and move items up to 25 lbs.
