New Summit Behavioral Therapy is hiring experienced and enthusiastic Behavior Therapists to provide one-to-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in the home and clinic settings. Behavior Therapists are responsible for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and skill acquisition goals designed and supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions within the Eugene, Oregon area to provide services in the home and at our clinic location in Eugene, Oregon.
Those who are looking for part-time must work a minimum of 4 service blocks/10 hours per week and have to be available for the evening time slot. Shift times are designated in 3 daily blocks (8:45-11:30, 12:15-3:00, 3:30-6:00). Hours worked Mondays are the same hours worked Wednesdays whereas hours worked Tuesdays are the same hours worked on Thursdays. Responsibilities:
- provide quality 1:1 instruction to children with ASD in communication, social, play, and adaptive skills
- record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals
- maintain objective daily session notes
- maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience with applied behavior analysis (ABA) required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Availability to work 8:45-6PM Monday-Thursday for Full-Time Employees.
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Oregon state licensure for Behavior Analyst Interventionist strongly preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification strongly preferred
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and sit on the floor for extended periods of time
- Need to be able to engage in frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping
- Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
