Technical Quotation Specialist

LGG Industrial is a national distributor of hoses, gaskets, and conveyor products — and we're looking for someone who speaks the language. If you can walk a customer through a complex application, read a technical drawing, and build a quote from scratch without a SKU to lean on, you're exactly who we need.This isn't a call center role. You'll be the technical backbone of our Houston customer service team — the person who steps in when the question gets hard, the application gets complicated, or the quote needs real product knowledge behind it. You'll handle escalated inquiries, develop custom quotes, and make sure customers get the right solution, not just an answer.Where you'll make the biggest impact:Build non-SKU, application-specific quotes for industrial hose or gasket productsHandle escalated technical questions from customers and internal sales repsRead and interpret technical drawings to recommend the right product solutionApply deep knowledge of industrial hose or gasket applications to solve real problemsPartner with Sales to support quoting, account development, and customer retentionKeep orders, delivery commitments, and customer accounts moving smoothlyWhat you bring:Strong working knowledge of industrial hose or gasket products and applications (spiral wound experience alone is not a fit)Experience building custom, non-catalog quotesAbility to read technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication skills — you can translate technical details for any audience1+ year of B2B customer service experienceComfortable in a fast-paced, multi-task environmentProficiency in MS Office and ERP systems a plusWant the full picture?
