Jr. Infra (Hardware) Technician

Location: Taylor, TXSalary: $25.00 USD Hourly - $30.00 USD HourlyDescription: Job SummaryWe are looking for a Junior Infrastructure Hardware Technician to support data center operations. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical IT hardware such as servers, storage, power, and cooling systems. You will follow standard procedures to ensure systems are running safely and reliably around the clock.Work ScheduleDay shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PMRotating schedules including weekendsMust be available for 24/7 operations as requiredKey ResponsibilitiesMonitor data center systems 24/7 using standard operating proceduresInstall, remove, replace, and organize servers and storage equipment (rack and stack)Perform hardware troubleshooting and replace failed components (hard drives, memory, power supplies, network cards)Ensure equipment is installed following data center standards and safety rulesIdentify and fix hardware, operating system, application, and basic network issuesKeep accurate records of hardware inventory and system documentationWork closely with engineering teams to support data center infrastructurePerform visual inspections and routine facility checksSupport basic facility systems such as power, cabling, cooling, generators, and low-voltage systemsRequired QualificationsExperience working in data center or mission-critical environmentsStrong knowledge of servers, storage, and networking hardwareExperience with Dell or HP servers, enterprise storage systems, PDUs preferredBasic understanding of Linux and Windows operating systemsAbility to lift equipment up to 50 poundsComfortable working in tight spaces or at heightsWilling to work extended hours or rotating shifts when neededPreferred QualificationsCertifications in Linux, Windows, networking, or storageExperience with enterprise storage or data center power systemsPrior hands-on hardware support experienceEducation & ExperienceAssociate Degree or higher, or equivalent work experience and certifications3+ years of relevant experience in data center or hardware support rolesBy providing your phone number, you consent to: (1) receive automated text messages and calls from the Judge Group, Inc. and its affiliates (collectively "Judge") to such phone number regarding job opportunities, your job application, and for other related purposes.
