We are looking for individuals who bring not only deep expertise but also bold vision and an unwavering commitment to excellence.About the PositionSceye is seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on Composites Technician to support the fabrication, assembly, and repair of advanced composite structures. In this role, you will work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to build high-quality components critical to our aerospace platforms.This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes pride in precision craftsmanship and continuous improvement.What We're Looking ForFabricate composite parts using techniques such as layup, vacuum bagging, and curingPrepare molds, tools, and materials for composite manufacturing processesTrim, bond, assemble, and finish composite components to specificationPerform repairs and rework on composite structures as neededFollow detailed work instructions, drawings, and engineering specificationsInspect parts for quality and conformance using appropriate tools and methodsMaintain clean and organized workspaces, tools, and equipmentCollaborate with engineering to support process improvements and new product developmentEnsure compliance with safety procedures and proper handling of materialsRequired Qualifications2+ years of experience in composite fabrication or similar hands-on manufacturing environmentExperience with composite materials (carbon fiber, fiberglass, resins, adhesives)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructionsStrong attention to detail and quality workmanshipBasic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to work in a team-oriented environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience in aerospace or high-performance manufacturingFamiliarity with vacuum bagging and curing processesExperience with trimming, bonding, and finishing composite partsKnowledge of safety practices related to composite materials and chemicalsAbility to work with tight tolerances and high-quality standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working with PPE and in a manufacturing environmentWhat We OfferAt Sceye, we're building more than high-altitude platformswe're building a workplace where people (and their pups) thrive.
