Senior Staff Software Engineer – Salesforce
About the Role
As a Senior Staff Software Engineer – Salesforce within our Enterprise Technology organization, you will lead the strategy for Salesforce, architect, design, develop, and maintain high-scale solutions, balancing declarative tools with programmatic resources such as Apex, LWC, and Flow. You will champion quality through rigorous unit testing, participate in strategic code reviews, and ensure our architecture adheres to industry-leading design patterns.
You Will
Strategically guide the engineering team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions by championing Salesforce best practices and enterprise design patterns and lead integrations with industry leading systems like SAP and Adbook.
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle for full-stack development-design, development, automated testing, and documentation of complex technical solutions on the Salesforce platform, ensuring alignment between business requirements and technical feasibility.
Orchestrate the implementation of platform enhancements and new functionality, streamlining the deployment process to improve speed-to-market and system reliability.
Serve as a technical bridge between stakeholders and engineering teams, translating business needs into creative technical solutions while providing transparent updates on project health and risks.
Proactively research emerging Force.com technologies and industry trends (such as AI/Agentforce or Data Cloud) to provide roadmap recommendations to leadership.
You Have
At least 10 years of extensive hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform, with a proven track record of building scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.
Deep proficiency in both declarative configuration and programmatic development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, and advanced Flow orchestration.
Hands-on experience with Salesforce deployment and release management tools, specifically Copado, Jenkins, or similar automated pipelines.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and elevate the team through rigorous code reviews and mentoring junior developers on best practices and design patterns.
Ability to translate complex user stories into high-quality, working software with minimal oversight.
