Job Title: Construction Project ManagerPosition SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver high-quality interior construction projects, with a focus on carpentry and finish work. This role is responsible for managing projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and manage all phases of construction projects, with an emphasis on interior fit-out and carpentryDevelop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecastsOversee subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project executionEnsure all work meets quality standards, drawings, and specificationsCollaborate with clients, architects, designers, and consultantsManage procurement of materials, particularly finish carpentry and interior packagesIdentify risks and resolve issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overrunsConduct regular site visits and progress meetingsMonitor project costs and approve invoices, change orders, and variationsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and building codesPrepare and present regular project updates to stakeholdersQualifications5–10+ years of construction project management experienceStrong background in interior construction and carpentry (e.g., millwork, cabinetry, finishes) preferredProven experience managing commercial or residential interior fit-out projectsSolid understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing for interiorsAbility to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contractsExperience with project management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project, or similar)Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and team coordination skillsExcellent communication and client-facing abilitiesHigh attention to detail, especially in finish qualityStrong budgeting, cost control, and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProblem-solving mindset with a proactive approachWorking ConditionsCombination of office-based work and on-site project visitsMay require travel between job sitesOccasional extended hours depending on project deadlinesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan / pensionProfessional development and career advancement opportunities
