Lead Flood/Water Damage Technician Needed

Job Description Looking to hire remediation technicians that will oversee assess and remove contaminants caused by water damage, air hazards, fires, or waste, such as removing mold in a residential or commercial building. Is responsible for working as part of a team to perform emergency services work while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation. The individual will also adhere to safety and hazardous materials handling. Other qualifications and responsibilities might arise as deemed necessary by circumstances. The individual must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.Education, Experience, Certifications:High School Diploma or equivalentConstruction and/or restoration experience, working on water/fire damage jobs specifically, environmental experience, and hazardous wastePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of driving and sittingPhysical labor within possible contained and confined spaces Able to move and/or lift up to fifty poundsStatusFull Time, Part Time and on call hours available Time of Work:Normal hours of work are 8:00 am to 4:30 pmMust be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekendsCompensation$18-$25 per hour - DOE, company vehicle, health benefits and 401K available if meet requirements Duties/Responsibilities:Respond to water jobs and initiate water mitigation according to IICRC and Company standardsPerform fire, water/mold damage restoration, including dry-outs, packing, cleaning, debris removal, etc.Complete scope of work documentations and daily dry logs both manually and implemented software. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment and uniform appearancePerform end-of-the-day job cleanup and breakdownInventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products and supplies needed for each project and keep vehicles in a ready to dispatch statusPerform procedures following Company guidelines and management instructionsProvide GREAT customer service to Company clients Move equipment and other items from the warehouse to the job site and backAssists with the inventory of site contents, setup of emergency services equipment, preparing contents for storage, and lifting items into storageFollow applicable safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gearOperate routinely used tools and equipmentPerform routine inspection and preventative maintenance on assigned equipmentWarehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenanceDrive a company vehicle to locations designated by management and adhering to all Sate driving rules while driving company vehicle Required Skills/Abilities:Must have good communication skillsMust have a valid Driver's LicenseAble to move and/or lift up to fifty poundsMust pass background check, driver record request, and auto insurance verification (if applicable)Construction and/or restoration experience, working on water/fire damageAbility to use and learn designated software program
