Job SummaryTitle: Associate Director, Brand Strategy (Distribution)Reports to: President, Distribution and VP, Digital StrategyLocation: New York, NY (On-Site, 5 days a week in office)The RoleRoc Nation is seeking an Associate Director, Brand Strategy for Roc Nation distribution owned and operated properties. In this role you will work with the President, the VP, Digital and other key stakeholders to develop a multi-channel social strategy for maximum views, impact, growth and acquisition. This position will support the continued development and growth for a diverse roster of Roc Nation artists and the Roc Nation Distribution brand.Responsibilities will include executing promotional campaigns, designing and implementing creative marketing plans and content strategies, securing digital retail merchandising, facilitating requests between partners, managers and artists and maintaining web & social platforms for the Roc Nation Distribution brand. The Associate Director will be responsible for shaping both digital strategy and the execution of plans, including social media publishing, and newsletter blasts on a daily basis.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Marketing: Develop and execute digital marketing/sales and content distribution strategies for Roc Nation Distribution. Present and develop content calendars, rollout strategies and content ideas to drive more awareness and adoption of the ROC Nation distribution platform Partner Management: Support and manage relationships with key digital partner accounts; liaise with label distribution partners to execute digital sales plans and marketing initiativesContent Development: Produce and post digital content, including text, images, videos; liaise with the creative department, product managers and digital marketing leads to develop artist focused contentSite and Social Development / Management: Support and manage Roc Nation Distribution website and social channels including but not limited to redesigns and updates around new platform features Creative Marketing and Revenue Development: Grow artist awareness, site traffic and content syndication through third party editorials, feature placements, social networking strategies, influencer marketing, marketing programs, D2C initiatives, contests/sweepstakes and exclusive content promotions to drive revenueReporting and Analysis: Compile and distribute regular reports to internal team; utilize data to evaluate campaign efficacy; evaluate internal and competitive digital campaign performances to determine each promotion’s success and areas of opportunity/growthOther Priority Marketing: Develop and execute content release campaigns, tour promotions, and other marketing efforts as needed around artist’s launchesQualifications5+ years experience managing the use of and/or relationships with digital distribution and social platformsBachelor's degree in a related field preferredExtensive knowledge of and passion for the music marketAn in-depth understanding of social media platforms, industry trends, new technologies and digital music servicesExcellent copywriting skills; ability to write under pressure for multiple campaigns simultaneouslyKnowledge using basic audio, photo and video editing programsThe highest attention to detailTrack record building and maintaining strong business relationshipsStrong oral/written communication skillsThe drive to take initiative, work independently and be accountable while also working as a team player who is collaborative, positive and flexibleExperience running reports and exporting data from Google Analytics, email service providers, CRM and other audio/video/social platformsExperience working with social management and listening platformsExperience working with content management systems; especially WordpressApplicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization, which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa.Benefits & PerksHEALTH: Medical, vision, dental and mental health benefits for you and your family with access to a health care concierge and Flexible or Health Savings Accounts (FSA or HSA)YOURSELF: Free concert tickets, paid time off including paid holidays, sick time and floating daysCAREER: Career and skill development programs with School of LiveWEALTH: 401(k) program with company matchNote – Roc Nation benefits and policies differ from Live NationThe Expected Compensation For This Position Is$108,000.00 USD - $135,000.00 USD Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.Live Nation Entertainment will never request payment or equipment purchases as part of the hiring process.
