Our mission is to elevate real estate assets while elevating the people who help build them.Who We’re Looking ForWe are searching for top-tier Construction Superintendents who bring:3–5+ years of construction field experienceExperience in multifamily or commercial renovationsA strong background in large-scale exterior and interior rehabilitation projectsHands-on estimating and field takeoff experienceThe ability to walk an existing property and quickly develop a deep understanding of its construction components and existing conditionsA strong understanding of building systems, materials, assemblies, and construction methodsThe ability to accurately measure, quantify, and document work in the fieldExperience developing scopes of work and assisting with project estimatesA solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to lead crews and subcontractors effectivelyHigh attention to detail and pride in craftsmanshipComfort with modern construction technology and project management toolsStrong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients, ownership, project managers, subcontractors, and vendorsThis role is ideal for a field-first construction professional who understands both how to build the work and how to price it.Project Types You’ll Lead & AssessOur projects are large-scale renovation, restoration, and capital improvement work across the multifamily and commercial sectors, including:Large-scale roofing replacementsInterior unit upgradesExterior painting programsRe-cladding and envelope remediationWaterproofing and building envelope repairsConcrete and structural repairsCarpentry and exterior repairsCapital improvement projectsMultifamily renovations and repositioning projectsOur Superintendents are the leaders on the ground, responsible for bringing projects to life with precision, speed, quality, and accountability.What You’ll DoField OperationsAs a Superintendent at Xalted Construction Group, you will:Lead day-to-day jobsite operationsCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnelManage project sequencing and productionEnsure projects stay on schedule and within budgetMaintain strict safety and quality standardsMonitor workmanship and ensure compliance with project plans and specificationsCommunicate clearly with project managers, clients, ownership, and subcontractorsSolve problems quickly and proactively in the fieldDocument project progress, existing conditions, deficiencies, and completed workRepresent Xalted’s commitment to professionalism and excellenceField Assessment & EstimatingA key component of this position is the ability to evaluate construction in the field and translate what you see into a scope and cost.You will:Conduct detailed field assessments of existing buildings and propertiesIdentify construction deficiencies, damage, deterioration, and required repairsDevelop a thorough understanding of existing building conditions and construction assembliesPerform in-field measurements and takeoffsQuantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor scopesDevelop detailed scopes of work based on field conditionsAssist in preparing estimates for renovation, restoration, and capital improvement projectsReview drawings, specifications, reports, photos, and other project documentationCompare estimated scope against actual field conditionsIdentify potential scope gaps, hidden conditions, constructability issues, and additional workAssist with change order pricing and field-driven scope developmentWork with Project Managers and Estimators to ensure projects are properly scoped and pricedIdentify opportunities for value engineering and more efficient construction methodsWe are specifically looking for someone who has performed takeoffs in the field—not someone whose estimating experience has been limited to sitting behind a computer pricing plans.You should be able to walk a property and answer questions such as:What is this building made of? What is wrong with it? What needs to be done? How much of it needs to be done? How would you build it?
