Truck Driver
TAMKO is seeking a Truck Driver at our Rangeline facility located in Joplin, Missouri. The Truck Driver will operate a semi-trailer truck to move asphalt materials, cores, polyester and glass mat materials.Summary Of Essential Job FunctionsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Other duties may also be assigned.Operate semi-trailer truck to move asphalt materials, cores, polyester and glass mat materials. Maintain necessary records and inspections as required by MDOT. Maintain the equipment in a clean and operational condition. Have and maintain a clean driving record. Operate lift truck in movement of materials in and out of warehouse and to and from trucks. Electronically receive raw materials. Assist the S/R department as needed. Assist in the Glass Plant production as needed. Operate the rewinder as needed. Work varying schedules, including nights and weekends in support of 24/7 operationsRequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements. Successfully pass DOT physical. At least three year relevant driving experience. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may work around moving mechanical parts, at elevated heights, where dusts and fumes could be present in the air, with or in proximity to chemicals, in hot environments, around electrical equipment, and in a loud environment. The employee must have the ability to understand and mitigate these and other risks, including by following all prescribed safety rules, and must have the ability to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, if necessary.
