Quality Technician, Vehicle Quality

IntroductionThe Quality Technician will report to the Vehicle Quality manager with the ultimate goal of supporting the development of business processes to ensure that the company's products and services provide a high level of quality that meets defined standards and specifications, ultimately fulfilling customer expectations.Required Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive, semiconductor, or aerospace fields are preferred).Experience in performing quality inspections based on control plans.Experience with Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, and Quality Control methods.Familiarity with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, etc.).Strong planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.Prior work experience in a related industry.Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.Preferred Skills & QualificationsFinished vehicle inspection experience.Experience with SAP and/or JIRA systems.Industry background and/or experience in automotive, software, contract manufacturing, or customer management.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesPerform part and vehicle level quality inspections to ensure the product meets specifications.Support incoming material processing and validate conformance to established quality standards.Document various procedures and work instructions.Support the creation and reporting of metrics to demonstrate quality status in NPI, manufacturing, and services.Enter test result data into SAP and JIRA systems.Assist in Root Cause Analysis activities, Corrective Action implementation, and validation.Support process improvement activities.Work with cross-functional teams as needed.Provide service quality support, including root cause investigations of issues with potential impact on service operations.Support the implementation of containment measures related to service operations and inventory components.Travel required to service locations (approximately 10%).For immediate consideration, please click APPLY to begin the screening process with Alex.
