Litigation Secretary
A well-established nation law firm recently opened an office in San Francisco and is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a busy litigation practice. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in both state and federal court environments.Responsibilities:Provide administrative and secretarial support to litigation attorneys.Prepare, revise, and format legal documents, pleadings, motions, and correspondence.Handle state and federal court e-filing (including CM/ECF).Manage calendars, deadlines, and court dates to ensure compliance with procedural rules.Coordinate filings, service of documents, and court-related logistics.Maintain electronic and physical files; assist with document management.Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.Provide general administrative support as needed.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a legal secretary in a litigation practice.Strong experience with both California state and federal court e-filing.Solid understanding of litigation procedures and court rules.Excellent organizational, proofreading, and time-management skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); familiarity with document management systems preferred.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Robert Half will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with the requirements of the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance.For confidential consideration, please apply to this posting or email your resume to Erica.Carpenter@roberthalf.com
