This role is responsible for monitoring equipment, coordinating daily operational activities, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards. The position requires strong teamwork, communication, and technical knowledge of production systems and processes.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with control room personnel and operations teams to ensure safe execution of work activitiesSupport daily plant and production operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with proceduresMonitor and perform routine surveillance of equipment and operational systemsAssist in coordinating maintenance activities, including reviewing work plans and ensuring proper isolation proceduresParticipate in equipment startup, commissioning, and system completion activitiesIssue and/or endorse work permits and ensure adherence to safety protocolsMaintain accurate daily logs, reports, and shift handover documentationCommunicate operational updates, issues, and changes across teams effectivelyPerform minor maintenance tasks and assist with troubleshooting operational issuesEnsure proper housekeeping standards are maintained across assigned areasParticipate in emergency response activities and safety drillsMake process adjustments as needed to maintain product quality within specificationsSafely perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and handling materialsSkills And QualificationsExperience in industrial operations, production, or a related fieldStrong understanding of production systems and operational processesAbility to read and interpret technical documents such as P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and shutdown logic diagramsKnowledge of safety systems, procedures, and tools (e.g., permit to work, job safety analysis, risk assessments)Familiarity with maintenance coordination and equipment isolation practicesStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work in physically demanding environments, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spacesCommitment to maintaining high safety, environmental, and operational standardsAbility to adapt to changing work conditions and prioritiesHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or additional certifications preferredJob DetailsLocation: Tioga, NDCompensation: $38/hrSchedule: 7/7 rotation
