EVT/DVT Engineering Program Manager
Overview
In this EVT/DVT Engineering Program Manager contractor role within the Wearables and Health team, you drive hardware module development across engineering, product, and suppliers. You will manage schedules, risks, and cross-functional alignment to deliver high-quality wearable hardware on time. You guide builds from Proto to Ramp, coordinating approvals and validation with manufacturing and quality teams. You’ll engage vendors and lead supplier meetings, including global coordination with Asian partners. This role shapes hardware development processes and delivery at scale.
ResponsibilitiesOversee JDM validation with manufacturing engineers and Part Quality Control plan with Quality Engineers; drive approvals during Proto/EVT/DVT/PVT/Ramp builds.Provide technical program management for hardware module design and development; coordinate multi-discipline engineering and operations teams.Track and mitigate development risks, ensuring milestones, cost targets, and manufacturability are met.Interface with vendors and cross-functional teams to manage schedules, budgets, and performance of hardware modules.Lead supplier meetings, including evening calls to coordinate with Asian suppliers; plan reviews and reporting; document changes in the change log.
