EHS Coordinator
Role: Environmental Health & Safety Lead
Responsibilities: Oversee and implement local EHS programs, conduct safety training, manage incident investigations, maintain safety logs, develop risk assessments, and ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. Collaborate with employees, contractors, and agencies to interpret standards and conduct audits. Develop systems to analyze safety data and improve processes. Support the organization's goal of a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
Qualifications & Skills: Previous EHS experience with strong OSHA knowledge, familiarity with environmental regulations, property management, and safety procedures. Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to operate safety equipment, vehicles, and machinery safely. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and capable of working independently.
Physical & Personal Attributes: Ability to work in various environments, lift up to 100 lbs, and work long shifts. Demonstrates strong judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive safety mindset. Holds relevant certifications, with a high school diploma or higher education preferred. No supervisory responsibilities but expected to support safety initiatives actively.
