Whether you are in Nashville or at one of our outlying locations, you are treated like family!Load Securement Duties:Instruct drivers on proper securement techniques for various load typesDemonstrate securement procedures and explain load-specific methodsEvaluate driver securement performance and provide constructive feedbackEnsure all training meets FMCSA regulations and internal policy requirementsReinforce customer-specific securement policies and safety expectationsRoad Instructor Duties:Conduct in-cab evaluations and real-time road instructionProvide feedback on driver handling, speed management, lane control, and safety practicesTrain drivers on pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsAddress any driving-related performance concerns with timely coaching and retrainingUphold and model safe driving behavior and company expectationsCargo inspection and working load limitsProper use of chains, straps, ropes, and tarping techniquesSecurement of coils, lumber, wire, rebar, containers, and sheetrockJob site and roadside safety protocolsDefensive driving practices and FMCSA compliancePre-trip inspections and vehicle operation standardsQualifications:Prior experience with flatbed load securement and over-the-road drivingInstructional or training experience in a safety or driving environment preferredStrong communication skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and correct behaviorsBasic computer literacy to log training progress and complete reportsReliable transportation and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug screenAbility to work outdoors and in a variety of weather conditions (when safe)Certifications in OSHA, TIA, or similar safety programs a plusWork Environment:This position requires full-time, in-person presence due to the hands-on nature of training and coaching.
