Join us!This position is for a Packaging Technician II in the Repligen manufacturing group. In this critical mid-level role, you will be responsible for the precise packaging of silicone and plastic components, as well as extruded tubing, used in the global bioprocessing industry. Operating in a highly controlled cleanroom environment, Technician II ensures every product is packaged with accuracy, safety, and full compliance with stringent company, industry, and GMP standards. Successful performance at this level can lead to progression to a Sr. Packaging Technician.Third shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 10:00pm-6:30amThird shift Operators receive a +$2.00 shift differential in addition to their hourly base pay for working this shift**Now offering a $2500 sign on bonus for new employees!**ResponsibilitiesPackage silicone, plastic components, and tubing according to work instructions, batch records, and quality standardsPerform inspection of components for defects, damage, or contamination prior to packagingOperate cleanroom packaging equipment and tools safely and efficientlyMaintain cleanroom gowning, hygiene, and aseptic techniques to prevent contaminationLabel, track, and document packaged components accurately, ensuring compliance with traceability and batch record requirementsFollow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Identify and report any quality or process deviations to supervisionSupport continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency and qualityCollaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to meet production targetsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the packaging areaQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or manufacturing training required2 yrs. of related experience in manufacturing and packagingPrevious experience in cleanroom or GMP manufacturing environment requiredKnowledge of packaging techniques for silicone, plastics, and tubing a plusStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to read and interpret batch records, SOPs, and labeling requirementsStrong manual dexterity and ability to perform repetitive tasksExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to lift, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs. safelyGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small partsAbility to perform detailed visual inspection tasksAbility to stand for extended periods while working in a cleanroom environmentWork is performed in a cleanroom environment with gowning requirementsMay require standing for extended periods and performing repetitive manual tasksMust comply with all safety, quality, and environmental policiesOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $19/Hr. -$24/Hr.. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
