This role is ideal for a driven, organized, and relationship-focused professional who is passionate about employee development, recruiting, and supporting a positive, high-performing workplace culture.As the Human Resources Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Manager and company leadership across all areas of human resources operations, including recruiting, onboarding, workforce development, employee engagement, training initiatives, and HR administration. You will help support career growth opportunities, strengthen employee retention efforts, and contribute to building a strong and inclusive team environment across the organization.What We Will Provide YouMaine-based company where you’re known and supported100% employer-paid health insuranceRetirement match and profit sharingPaid time off and paid holidaysTuition reimbursement and professional development opportunities What You Will Be DoingSupport recruiting efforts for field, skilled trade, administrative, and professional positionsAttend career fairs, school events, industry events, and recruiting functionsRepresent GFC at high schools, trade schools, colleges, and workforce development organizationsSupport internship, apprenticeship, mentorship, and workforce development initiativesAssist with onboarding, orientation, training coordination, and employee development programsBuild strong relationships with employees to support retention and career growth opportunitiesMaintain employee files, HR systems, certifications, training records, and compliance documentationAssist with benefits administration, payroll support tasks, certified payroll setup, and wage classificationsCoordinate employee engagement activities including appreciation events, BBQs, and company gatheringsSupport managers with performance documentation and HR-related processesTrack workforce development metrics, recruiting effectiveness, and retention initiativesCollaborate with HR, Safety, Operations, and Marketing teams on company initiatives and special projectsMaintain confidentiality while supporting HR operations and employee relationsWhat You Will Need To SucceedAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred1–3 years of HR or administrative experience preferredConstruction industry experience is a plusBasic understanding of employment laws and HR complianceProficiency in Microsoft Office and HR/timekeeping systemsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesDetail-oriented with ability to manage multiple prioritiesHigh level of professionalism and confidentialityReliable, proactive, and solution-oriented mindsetAbility to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environmentValid driver’s license and reliable transportation requiredAbility to lift up to 15 pounds occasionallyGreat Falls Construction provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, or genetics
