Senior Buyer

Our client, a world-class global manufacturing company just east of Los Angeles/Valinda/City of Industry area seeks an experienced Senior Buyer with 4 plus years in manufacturing with strong procurement experience.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and executes sourcing strategies that align with end-to-end supply chain objectives.Negotiates and manages supplier contracts and volume purchasing agreements.Evaluates supplier bids, and initiates RFP and RFQs to finalize pricing and implement agreements.Ensure material availability to meet the manufacturing production schedule.Manages supplier relationships, including business reviews and evaluations.Identifies alternative sourcing options and product substitutes to reduce costs.Work closely with Engineering and Quality.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in similar discipline.4-5 plus years of procurement experience in manufacturing.2 plus years of managing suppliers.Experience with MRP systemsStrong Microsoft office software experience (Excel, Word, Outlook)Experience with Tableau and SQL.C.P.M. and/or APICS certification preferred.Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skillsOutstanding culture, growth, compensation, and benefits.
