Armed Security Officer

Excelsior Defense are seeking an Armed Security Officer to become part of our exceptional team. The selected individual will look for a part-time or Full time to protect our client's premises, assets, and personnel. You will maintain a high visibility presence and prevent all illegal or inappropriate actions and maintain access control into the property. The selected individual will be doing rounds, scanning in different points throughout the property in the housing contract. The Armed Officer needs to be prompt with patrolling the community to making sure everything is safe.This position is in the Orlando Area including on position in the Sanford Area (32771) Saturday and Sunday (Area Code: 32805) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am Tuesday and Wednesday (Area Code: 32810) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am Saturday and Sunday (Area Code: 32771) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am Friday and Saturday (Area Code: 32805) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00am Saturday and Sunday (Area Code: 32822) Time: 9:00pm to 5:00amQualificationProtect company's property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environmentObserve for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbancesAct lawfully in direct defense or life or propertyApprehend criminals and evict violatorsReport in detain any suspicious incidentsReport WritingSkills RequiredProven Work experience as a security officer or relevant positionValid D and G security license (Needs to be active with both security license)Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipmentMust have your own weaponExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocolsSurveillance skills and detain orientationIntegrity and professionalismDetailed report writingBase Rate: 19.01 hourly
