Information Technology Support Specialist
🚨 We’re Hiring: IT Support Specialist (Level 1) – New York, NY 🚨📍 Location: New York, NY (On-site – at least 3 days/week) 🏢 Industry: Apparel Manufacturing 👤 Reports To: Director of IT 💰 Salary: $60K–$70K annuallyWe’re looking for an IT Support Specialist (Level 1) to be the frontline of an IT team in NYC. This is a highly visible role where you’ll be the first point of contact for employees when technical issues arise. We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with patience, professionalism, and excellent communication.You’ll support employees with hardware, software, connectivity, and account access issues while managing ticket queues, maintaining documentation, and ensuring a seamless support experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to leverage AI tools like Claude and Claude Cowork to improve efficiency and identify recurring issues.What You’ll Do: ✔ Be the first point of contact for technical support issues ✔ Manage NinjaOne & ClickUp ticket queues ✔ Resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues ✔ Support onboarding/offboarding processes ✔ Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation ✔ Escalate issues to Tier 2 support when neededWhat We’re Looking For: ✅ 2–5 years of IT helpdesk/desktop support experience (internships count) ✅ Experience with ticketing systems like NinjaOne, ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar ✅ Familiarity with ClickUp or other task management tools ✅ Knowledge of Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, and common business apps ✅ Strong communication and problem-solving skills ✅ CompTIA A+, ITIL, or similar certifications are a plus
