The role covers antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, including high-risk deliveries and C-section supportKEY REQUIREMENTSMinimum 2+ years of recent L&D experienceAbility to perform sterile vaginal exams independentlyStrong triage and fetal monitoring experienceExperience with C-sectionsEpic charting experience requiredMust be open to floating to Mother Baby unitCERTIFICATIONS REQUIREDBLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN AdvancedCORE RESPONSIBILITIESManage labor patients, including monitoring, assessment, and triagePerform fetal monitoring (internal and external)Assist with vaginal deliveries and C-sectionsHandle high-risk and emergency casesProvide newborn care (APGAR scoring, thermoregulation)Administer critical drips (Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, insulin)Support postpartum recovery and patient educationWORK ENVIRONMENTPatient Ratio: 1:26–8 deliveries per day13 L&D rooms, 15 bedsLevel 3 NICU supportHigh-demand role with strong clinical exposure and competitive compensation.Interested?
