Help process loan applications for approval or denial within assigned lending authority. Provide input on the ALCO committee, Loan Committee, and other areas as needed.Duties:Process loan applications (Consumer and Real Estate)Call on current and new customers to generate new business within trade areaScreens loan requests based on financial institution policies and on types of loans offered by the institutionOrder appraisals, credit reports, background checks, reference checks and other information needed on loan applicantsIncrease the deposit base of the branch within the parameters of authorityCoordinate and assist with the closing of loansAssist with collections on past due loans for your branchAll other job duties as assignedRequirementsMinimum Qualifications Has the ability to achieve profit, growth and customer service objectives within bank policy guidelinesPreferred Qualifications Strong working knowledge of lending policies, procedures and documentation requirementsPrevious mortgage, banking or title experienceSkills Good sales and computer skills and a proven ability to develop business are necessaryShould be analytically minded and possess good judgmentMust demonstrate management, communication, and interpersonal skillsWork Environment Primarily office or branch-based environment with standard business hours.
