Closes to internal bidders on May 1, 2026 at 3:30 p.m.Position: Office Coordinator - Grade VIWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8hrs/day, 12 monthStart Date: ASAPPay: Starting pay is $22.91 - $25.69 per hour dependent on qualificationsBenefits: Benefits available per the clerical labor agreement which can be found online at: https://www.isd622.org/about/human-resourcesRequired QualificationsAssociate's degree or equivalent (48 college semester credits or two years experience)Minimum of three years of relevant clerical experienceStrong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsAdvanced computer skills including word processing, database, budgeting, and spreadsheet programsExperience working with budgets and utilizing bookkeeping/accounting skillsExcellent decision-making and problem-solving skillsSkilled in organization, prioritizing tasks and multi-taskingSelf-motivated with the ability to function with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain confidentialityPreferred QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience with purchasing proceduresCommunications experience such as newsletter publication and working with graphicsVendor relations experienceResponsibilitiesGeneral office duties including email and phone correspondence, greeting visitors, calendar management and reminders, filing, data-entry, ordering supplies, etc.Serve as the first line of communication and problem resolution for students, parents, staff, and administrators. Route and/or delegate calls/individuals to other staff as appropriate.Maintain accurate records related to budgets, attendance, census, grades, accounting, inventory, students, etc. Meet regularly with the building principal to provide them with budget-related updates.Prepare and process personnel and payroll-related forms and timesheetsInitiate building job posting requisition processPrepare and edit correspondence, reports, newsletters, and other staff/student/parent documentsOrganize and prepare information and materials for substitute staffCreate and prepare reportsDevelop building calendar of events and coordinate building-specific events (including related transportation needs)Collect funds for various events and organizations (i.e. United Way, Food Shelf, Staff Appreciation, etc.)Coordinate office equipment repairs as neededDistribute U.S. and inter-school mailRespond to emergencies in a timely and professional mannerMaintain confidentiality with student, parent, and staffing-related informationTrain and assist other office staff as neededOther related duties as assignedIndependent School District No, 622, North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale, does not discriminated on the basis of sex and prohibits sex discrimination in any education program or activity.ISD 622 is an equal opportunity employer and supports an inclusive workplace environment.
