Job DescriptionAlbany, New York, Cardiologist OpportunityClinical Role:Must be willing to work across two hospitals in TroyMust be interested in treating Non-Invasive Cardiology cases and performing procedures in both the inpatient and outpatient environments.Must possess excellent clinical skills, communication skills, and a strong commitment to providing excellent care that is team orientedShift description: 50/50- hospital/clinicsOn call: 1 weeknight per week (rarely have to come in- telephone call). Weekend call rotation is 1:5 supported with APPs on weekends- they round in hospital on weekend days and are on call by phone at night- very rarely have to come in on overnights- inhouse night CardiologistThe selected providers will join a highly regarded group, established in 1980, that is committed to delivering the highest quality, state-of-the-art cardiovascular care to patients through evidenced-based guidelines. The group consists of more than two dozen physicians and Advanced Practitioners treating patients across two in Troy. The practice offers a vast range of services including General Cardiology, Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, Vascular Clinics, Nuclear Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology including a Structural Heart program. Instrumental in establishing an Interventional program hospital, the practice has been a top 100 Heart Hospital for 10 years and also provides Medical Directorship of Cardiac Rehabilitation and Wellness ProgramThese are exciting opportunities to join established practices with strong patient demand.
