Electrical Engineer

We are searching for an Electrical Engineer to join an Aerospace electronics manufacturer company that will join their Monitoring and Actuation business engineering team.Role: Electrical EngineerLocation: Vermont, United StatesHybrid: Fully remote for 3 weeks a month, 1 week a month onsite (expensed)Contract: 6-months initial contract (likely to extend)Rate: Competitive $ HourlyThe Electrical Engineer will support production troubleshooting activities and perform lifecyclemanagement of the existing aerospace and defense product line, collaborating across disciplines and leveraging hands-on experience to deliver reliable, high-performance products.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Associate's degree plus significant (7+ years) relevant job experience5+ years of experience in electronic or aerospace manufacturing and troubleshootingCircuit card manufacturing and hands-on troubleshooting experienceExperience with SPICE simulation softwareComprehension of complex aerospace schematics and circuit functionElectrical component comparison and associated lifecycle (obsolescence) managementStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges and mitigate risksEffective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goalsExperience in Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA)
