This contract position is not associated with any labor union or Collective Bargaining Agreement.Talent Acquisition Specialist (Contract)Job SummaryThis Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for improving and maintaining a positive Candidate Experience by supporting end-to-end Candidate Communications and managing and optimizing our recruitment enablement tools to ensure efficiency in the hiring process. This is a highly collaborative role partnering with several Teams throughout the Company to provide a best-in-class Candidate Experience. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a strong communicator who looks forward to making a meaningful impact at Southwest. They’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow in their expertise each day, share their knowledge with others, and drive Candidate Experience initiatives to help position Southwest Airlines as a best place to interview and employer of choice.ResponsibilitiesConstruct, administer, and analyze participant surveys by measuring experience, ability to meet objectives, return on investment, and other key metrics to report progress to LeadershipCreate and deliver detailed project proposals, including objectives, deliverables, scope, timing, milestones, communication strategies, and responsibilities utilizing benchmarking, industry research, and gathering input from identified StakeholdersDefine program objectives and requirements that support the talent strategy, initiate program setup, establish and implement program management plans, monitor program results, and develop sustainability measuresDesign, develop, and facilitate high impact and interactive events, programs, and learning solutions by partnering with subject matter experts in order to support the development of program participants and maximize learner participation, comprehension, and application of the materialGenerate, administer, and analyze participant surveys by measuring participant experience, training effectiveness, and key metrics to identify areas for improvement and modify programs where appropriateIdentify program gaps and opportunities for growth by documenting processes, recommending improvements, and sharing best practices to ensure the continued success of program initiativesManage risks associated with program planning by identifying and forecasting pertinent problems, evaluating, and recommending solutions, and implementing the appropriate course of actionSupport Team Members in creating reporting metrics, dashboards, graphics, and analytics to monitor, analyze progress, and effectively deliver assessment and results to organizational LeadersMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s LeadersKnowledge, Skills, And AbilitiesKnowledge of, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods including alternative ways to inform and engage via written, oral, and visual mediaKnowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effectsKnowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systemsGiving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate timesAdjusting actions in relation to others' actionsUsing logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problemsManaging one's own time and the time of othersAbility to learn and apply new concepts quicklyThe ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make senseThe ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentencesThe ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understandRequiredRequired: High School Diploma or GEDPreferredStrong written, verbal, and visual communication experienceExperience with Phenom CRM, SMS, Interview Scheduler, One-Way Interview, and CampaignsExperienceAdvanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:Human resources, HR support, or HRIS reportingLicensing/CertificationN/APhysical AbilitiesAbility to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of timeAbility to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the jobAbility to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the jobOther QualificationsMust maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelinesMust be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Must be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelinesPayCompetitive market rate from $44.00-$53.00 hour* depending on qualifications and experience.Assignment LengthThis contract is a three-month assignment, and the duration may be modified based on business need.Pay amount doesn’t guarantee employment for any particular periodThis role is contingent and may transition to full-time employment at the discretion of Southwest Airlines Co, based on performance, business needs, and other factors.
