Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)$2,500 Sign-On Bonus The Lutheran Home is seeking full-time Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) to join our compassionate healthcare community. New CNAs Welcome New or experienced CNAs are encouraged to apply and grow with our team. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assist residents with daily personal care and hygieneAssist with the feeding of residentsWeigh residents using upright, chair, and mechanical lift scalesAssist in turning and positioning of residentsTransfer residents using proper body mechanics or lifting devices for accident prevention as indicated on the care planDemonstrate appropriate knowledge for safe use of medical equipment (cane, walkers, mechanical lifts, side rails, brace, splint, oxygen)Help keep residents' rooms clean and suppliedMake/change beds (unoccupied and occupied)Ambulate residents who require minimal assistancePerform skin checks and notify the nurse of any abnormalities in skin integrityAnswer residents' calls and take appropriate actionImmediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in resident's condition or incidents to the nurseCommunicate residents' requests or concerns in a timely mannerIn this full-time role, you'll follow a consistent two-week schedule, working 7 out of 14 days with a three-day weekend every other week.
