Technical Support Engineer – Robotics

RealMan Robotics is scaling our North American operations. We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to support our collaborative robot (cobot) products for customers across North America. This role works closely with our sales and engineering teams to provide technical support before and after deployment, ensuring reliable system performance and strong customer satisfaction.The position involves hands-on work with robotic systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and on-site customer support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for robotic arm systems used by customers in North AmericaSupport pre-sales demonstrations and technical discussions with the sales teamPerform installation, commissioning, and configuration of robotic systems at customer sitesDiagnose and resolve hardware and software issuesReplace components and perform preventive maintenance to ensure reliable operationTrain customers on robot operation, programming, and best practicesWork closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and provide field feedbackBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field3+ years of relevant experience in robotics, automation, field service, or technical supportStrong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving ability with robotics or industrial equipmentBasic programming experience with APIs (C/C++ or Python)Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System) is a plusAbility to perform basic electrical testing and system diagnosticsComfortable working in English-speaking customer environments, Willing to travel to customer sites across the U.S. and Canada as needed, and to travel to China for product and technical trainingPreferred QualificationsBilingual English-MandarinExperience with collaborative robots (cobots)Experience in robot integration or industrial automation projectsBackground in Electrical Engineering (EE)Familiarity with robot programming or teaching softwareIf you are passionate about robotics and enjoy hands-on work with real-world robotic systems, we encourage you to apply or reach out to learn more.
