Details 16-bed MICU in a hospital setting High-acuity patient population including sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, heart failure, pre-VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, multi-organ failure, post cardiac arrest/targeted temperature management, respiratory failure/shock, CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella Standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional 1:1 based on patient acuity Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Every other weekend required Floating is required Epic EMR experience is required Requirements Active NY RN license currently in hand Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS Minimum 1 year of MICU or critical care RN experience Epic EMR experience required Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Any time off or scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration American Traveler Job ID P-693256.
