Security ClerkThe Security Clerk provides administrative and operational support for security clearance processing, access control, and personnel security functions. This role ensures timely, accurate handling of clearance documentation, base access requests, and command badging requirements in support of mission readiness.Minimum RequirementsHigh School DiplomaProficiency with Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to communicate clearly in English (reading, writing, speaking)Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periodsExperience with fingerprinting equipment, DISS, e-QIP, and automated security systems (required)CitizenshipMust be a U.S. CitizenKey ResponsibilitiesPersonnel Security SupportProcess daily local agency checks, visit requests, and security clearance actions.Verify all security documents for accuracy and completeness.Maintain Security Clearance folders and ensure timely filing of all OPM correspondence.Maintain an up-to-date roster of all personnel with active security clearances.Access & Badging SupportProcess Common Access Card (CAC) requests.Prepare and submit Base Access Requests for visitors.Create, program, and issue command badges; ensure full knowledge of the command badging system.Systems & ToolsComplete daily tasks using:DISS (Defense Information System for Security)e-QIP (Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing)Fingerprinting systems and other automated security platformsAdministrative & Compliance DutiesProvide timely information to staff and customers as needed.Attend all mandatory training, including:Monthly process improvement meetingsSafety stand-downsAnnual IT system upgrade trainingAnnual command-wide trainingEnsure all duties support Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) security requirements.Preferred SkillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to handle sensitive information with discretionStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining high-quality standardsFor more information contact:Betty Fisk314-744-4130Betty_Fisk@spectrumhealth.comAt Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
