In this role, the Forensic Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and assessing structural damage caused by storms, water, vandalism, or failure. Key day-to-day responsibilities include conducting forensic investigations, performing failure analyses, documenting findings in detailed reports, and collaborating with clients to deliver accurate, unbiased assessments. Additionally, the Forensic Engineer may serve as an expert witness as part of legal proceedings when required.QualificationsProficiency in Forensic Analysis, Forensic Engineering, and Failure AnalysisStrong background in Structural Engineering principles and practicesExcellent Analytical Skills to assess causes and effects of structural failuresAttention to detail and ability to create comprehensive, clear, and professional investigative reportsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with engineering analysis tools and methodologiesBachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related fieldProfessional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain licensure preferredRelevant experience in forensic engineering or structural analysis is a strong advantage
