An exciting opportunity for a hands‐on Security Engineer who is technically strong, proactive, and confident operating in a fast‐paced SOC environment.Resposibilities:Monitor and investigate security events across systems, networks, and applicationsRespond to live incidents, including analysis, escalation, and remediationIdentify vulnerabilities and systemic weaknesses through assessments and testingReview and apply threat intelligence to reduce risk exposureCollaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to strengthen systemsMaintain and optimise monitoring, alerting, and reporting processesParticipate in proactive exercises such as penetration testing and scenario simulationsContribute to continuous improvement of security operations and platform protectionsSkills:2–4 years' experience in a hands‐on cyber security role (SOC or systems environment)Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux systems, and system hardening practicesFamiliar with attacker techniques, common TTPs, and detection/response toolsPractical experience investigating alerts and supporting remediation effortsProactive, curious, and determined with a problem‐solving mindsetRelevant degree or equivalent practical experience in IT or cyber securityAn excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation during a period of growth and change.Please send CV for full job description and an informal chat.#J-18808-Ljbffr
