Job Summary: Supermicro is looking for talented and passionate Solution Engineer who has in-depth knowledge in Service Solutions. You will be responsible for providing OEM mission Critical support to our enterprise customers, Internal teams, and production.The ideal candidate must have strong technical background in computer systems as well as exceptional communication skills -- ability to interface with all levels of management staffs in professional manner. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):Develop services product for OEM customersServe as an escalation point for complex technical issues and manage them professionally and efficientlyReview legal contracts for service performance obligationsProvide quick response and support for issues in productionProvide Level 3 support to channel partners, including resellers and distributorsContinually develop knowledge-base of current and new productsWork with internal teams and teams worldwide for coordinating and resolving issuesTravel is required (up to 25%)Qualifications:Hands on experience with Enterprise servers (Supermicro, EMC, DELL, HP)Experience in talking with customers to organize and drive custom service solutionsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering preferredMinimum of 2 years of industry experience in related areas. Previous experience in a team lead, supervisor, or manager capacity preferredSolid hardware system diagnostics skills, as well as a good understanding of cluster architectureThe candidate needs to have strong technical communication skills to lead investigations with engineers of multiple disciplinesStrong written and verbal communication skills, project management skills, solid time management skillsCandidate must have an ability to participate in multiple cross-functional projects concurrently in a rapidly changing environment, within established timelines and have a demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new and changing technologiesWork experience in large enterprise IT environment and technical certifications is a plusAbility to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment. Must be solution-oriented, a team player with the ability to identify and escalate issues in a timely manner, and be proactive in driving solutionsIndividual must be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environmentFull professional proficiency in English (read/write/speak)Must be punctual and detail-orientedMust possess an excellent ability to follow-up on planned actionsSalary Range$90,000 - $115,000The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
