We’re hiring a Master Electrician to lead complex solar + storage installs, drive quality on-site, and help scale a future-ready clean energy operation.What You’ll Do:Lead full-cycle solar PV projects from plan review through commissioning:Review plans/blueprints and electrical diagrams; perform site assessmentsOversee installation crews across racking/mounting, DC/AC wiring, conduit runs, grounding, BOS layout, service upgrades, and tie-insIntegrate inverters and battery storage systems (hybrid + backup configurations)Install, test, and commission grid-tied and battery-backup systems:Inverters, disconnects, interconnects, labeling, voltage testing, startup, and performance validationEnsure strict compliance with:NEC (including Article 690), state/local codes, AHJ requirements, utility interconnection standards, and company safety protocolsOwn permitting and inspection readiness:Pull permits, coordinate inspections, communicate with utilities/AHJs, and secure approvalsTroubleshoot and resolve complex PV/electrical issues:Diagnose faults, correct deficiencies, perform repairs/maintenance to maximize system uptime and performanceLead and develop field talent:Train and mentor apprentices/journeymen; enforce best practices, quality control, and jobsite disciplineCollaborate cross-functionally:Partner with project managers, general contractors, and clients to deliver safe, on-time, high-efficiency installsMaintain clean, organized jobsites and uphold Sparx Solar’s commitment to excellence, safety, and sustainabilityWhat We’re Looking For:Active Master Electrician license (multi-state preferred; reciprocity knowledge a plus)2+ years hands-on electrical experience (strong preference for solar/PV installation experience)NABCEP PV Installation Professional (PVIP) certification strongly preferred (industry gold standard)Deep working knowledge of:NEC Article 690, electrical schematics, wiring methods, inverters, batteries, and renewable integrationValid driver’s license and ability to travel within assigned regionsStrong problem-solving ability, leadership presence, and clear communicationHigh standards for safety, quality, and craftsmanshipCompensation & Benefits:Competitive, top-tier pay + performance bonusesHealth insuranceCompany vehicle and tools providedRapid career advancement in a booming solar sectorJoin a team building innovative, future-ready solar + storage solutionsReady to lead installs that matter?
