This contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available for the remainder of the 25/26 school year, starting as soon as possible through June 4, 2026. You'll be supporting a caseload of 34 students, all on the autism spectrum, in a collaborative school environment located near Middletown, PA. The workday runs from 8:10 AM to 3:40 PM, full-time, in a setting where your expertise is valued and your contributions are vital. Qualifications & Experience:Master's degree in Speech-Language PathologyCurrent SLP certification/license valid for school settings in PennsylvaniaASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferredPrevious experience working with children with autism, particularly at the elementary levelSolid grasp of IEP processes, compliance documentation, and multi-disciplinary collaborationAbility to develop creative, student-centered intervention strategies Responsibilities:Assess speech, language, and communication needs of students on your caseloadDeliver direct and indirect therapeutic services targeting expressive/receptive language, social communication, articulation, and AACCollaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to support students' communication across academic and social contextsParticipate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal setting, and ensure timely, thorough documentationCreate inclusive communication supports to foster classroom participation and peer interaction Embrace this opportunity to work with a highly supportive staff and make a genuine difference for students with unique needs.
