Senior PainterJob Category: Manufacturing Requisition Number: SENIO003349Posted: April 27, 2026Full-TimeOn-siteRenton | Renton, WA Renton, WA 98057, USADescriptionTasks and Responsibilities:Use sanders and similar tools to ensure parts are prepped for paint.Routinely review work orders, work on correct operations and jobs.Sand and prep surfaces to requirement and meet daily Takt times.Prepare and mix paint to the requirement using weight scales and mixers.Paint parts to meet requirements.Document all required information as per the work instructions.Package and prepare parts for shipment to next operation.Verify correct part count and paperwork accompanies product.Maintain your work area, keep it stocked, clean, and organized.Maintain the area and paint booth by changing filters as required, documenting maintenance, monitor and document nanometer readings, replacing dirt traps, mats, etc.Maintain inventory control of supplies and remove expiring items from system and work area.Maintain spray equipment to the highest standard.Reviewing work and delivering blemish free parts to paint.Maintain a safe work environment.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills:Must keep the area clean and organized at all times.Must maintain a FOD free work environment.Ability to use a DA sander for several hours.Ability to use a paint spray gun for several hours.Lift up to 50 lbs. or more with assistanceBasic reading, writing, math, and computer skillsCommunication skillsDetail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and problem-solve.Proficient use of paint guns, including the ability to adjust it for humidity and viscosity to achieve required paint results.Full understanding of cleaning a paint gun including disassembly and reassembly for maintaining a clean gun for high quality paint results.Proficient in mixing paint components (paint, thinner, hardener)Knowledge of Solvent and Waterborne Paints.Proficient use of Zahn EZ cup and DIN Flow cupKnowledge of using a PosiPen and Wet Film Thickness GaugeMust have the ability to compare color charts to actual painted parts.Must be able to differentiate colors to accurately identify defects in product paintEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required5 years of painting experienceUnderstand paint mixing, cure time, and paint expiration datesLift up to 50 lbs. or more with assistanceBasic reading, writing, math, and computer skillsMust be able to be approved for a respirator through a fit test through a third party.Last Application Date 5/7/2026The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level.
