Quality Assurance TesterThis position is primarily responsible for:Act as a conduit between business SMEs and technical resources to create test suites and test plansSpearhead overall testing activities and coordinate different test phases of the projectPerform test execution in test environments and validate parallel test resultsCreate and manage test data, develop strategies and statues around test environments.Proactive defect reporting and retestAdhere to the prescribed QA strategy and processes.Work collaboratively with project and QA leads, ensure test coverage across all team projectsSummarize test and project results and report the metrics on daily and weekly basis to leadership teamsBring QA industry best standards and provide testing guidelinesGood to have SQL or general database querying knowledgeMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other technology related fields7+ years of expertise in QA Testing and experience in developing test plans, test suites and test execution6 years of defect management, defect triaging, defect remediation and root cause reporting5 + years of hosting and coordinating QA activities between business, IT team and other partners4+ years of testing center of excellence, with deep understanding of QA planning, execution, and reportingMinimum 3 years of experience or exposure to PeopleSoft application is requiredDemonstrated experience with Agile, hybrid-agile and waterfall methodologies.Other QualificationsProactive, decisive, action-oriented individualStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent interpersonal with test to break attitude, collaborative, and a team player.Able to clearly articulate requirements into test cases and ensure test coverage with other teams.Ability to be broadly focused and delivery multiple efforts concurrently.
