The Sales Associate will greet and assist customers in the showroom, provide product information, answer questions, and guide customers through the selection and purchasing process. Daily tasks include managing customer inquiries in person and by phone or email, preparing quotes, processing orders, and updating customer records. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized sales area, coordinating with production or installation teams, and following up with customers to ensure satisfaction. The Sales Associate will work closely with the broader team to achieve sales targets, support promotional activities, and contribute to a professional and welcoming environment.Qualifications Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and communicate clearly with a diverse range of customers.Sales and negotiation abilities, including experience with upselling, handling objections, and closing sales in a retail or showroom setting.Basic administrative and organizational skills, such as managing documentation, updating records, and following structured processes accurately.Comfort with technology, including point-of-sale systems, email, and basic office software (e.g., word processing and spreadsheets).Ability to stand for extended periods, move products as needed, and maintain an orderly, safe showroom environment.Detail orientation and reliability, with a focus on accuracy in pricing, orders, and customer information.High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in retail sales, home improvement, furnishings, or related fields is beneficial.Willingness to learn product features and specifications and to participate in ongoing training; availability to work typical retail hours, including some evenings or weekends as needed.
