Responsibilities include ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood work, bone marrow biopsies, imaging studies, and genetic testing. The position involves analyzing biopsy results in collaboration with pathologists to determine disease type and stage. The clinician will formulate diagnoses and provide clear explanations to patients and families regarding blood cancers and disorders.
