IT Procurement, working together with theEBMaterials Management Organization, is seeking a candidate that willbe responsible forall aspects of ITEquipmentManagement andInventory. This is afull-time, on-site position currentlylocatedin Groton, CT at thePoheganutoffice.TheITLogistics AnalystwillberesponsibleforsupportingtheElectric Boat Information Technology Departmentby providing oversightof EBITsreceivingandlogisticsfor all IT equipment. The successful candidate must be a self-starter and able to workwithminimal direction. This individual willbe requiredto maketimelyandaccuratedecisions. TheITLogistics Analyst is expected to take ownership of the strategic vision and execution of work with a focus on continuous improvement andinventory management. The successful candidate will be accountable to supportthe EB Project Management Office and EB IT Procurementinlocating, tracking,inventoryingandschedulingtransporting of equipment.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Oversight ofITprocess management and movement of material needed to supportEB IT operational and project initiativesStrong understanding oflogisticsmanagement, material availability analysis,andreview of schedulesThe position willwork closely with EBIT Procurement, ITSuppliers, IT Contractors, and the EB Project Management OfficeWork in ateam-orientedenvironment collaborating with IT Finance,ITProcurement,IT PMO, and IT Infrastructure supportManage supplier relationships and act as point of contact to ensure continuity of technology goods and servicesDemonstrated agility in dynamic and evolving environment requiring a shift in prioritiesResponsibilitiesSkills:Good organizational skillsAbility to analyze data and informationStrongproblem-solvingskillsStrong project management and prioritizingskillsWilling and able to interact effectively with all levels of managementAbility to function independently and work in a multi discipline team environmentQualificationsRequired:High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalency2+ years of experience in directly working in supply chain orlogisticsAbility to travel between sites that support the Grotonand QPShipyard (Connecticut and Rhode Island)Demonstrated experience in supporting process improvement initiativesPreferred:Bachelors DegreeExperience workingwithin ITInventory ManagementExperience in MaterialManagement and PlanningDemonstrated experience inestablishingand maintaining metrics
