Hiring: Apprentice Electrician for Ft. Polk LAAn AllCom Global Services Project consists of various subsystems that will be installed, tested and placed into service. This requires experience as an installation person to understand the system design, industry standards, installation methods & processes with knowledge of data enterprise and telecommunications.Knowledge / Skill / Abilities Requirements:Basic Knowledge of the National Electric CodeSome Outside plant fiber, copper, and grounding installation requirements and standardsInside Plant infrastructure providing common system functionality (cabling, racking, power, HVAC)Site installation preparationSecondary distribution for DC & AC PowerTransport equipment installationData Enterprise installationKnowledge with most industry standards supporting the Data and Telecommunications environment Additional Skills:Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagramsGood written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to follow directions and assist Journeyman ElectriciansRemove wiring connections on equipment an dhardware for common systems equipmentWork safely on and around high voltage energized equipment Education and Experience:High school diploma or GEDDocumented work experience in related filedMinimum of 1 year on installation markets
