The largest device company in the world - with complementary businesses in Surgical and Vision Care**Injection Molding Process Engineer II****Contract:** 2 years with extension or conversion potential**Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Holiday, PTO 401K matchingLeads development, validation, and optimization of injection molding processes for medical-grade manufacturing, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency through scientific molding and data-driven improvement.**Responsibilities**+ Develop, validate (IQ/OQ/PQ), and optimize processes.+ Apply scientific molding to improve quality and cycle times.+ Troubleshoot using root cause analysis and FMEA.+ Maintain compliant documentation.+ Collaborate cross-functionally on product launches and improvements.+ Drive continuous improvement (SPC, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma).+ Support tooling and process changes via CAD interpretation.**Qualifications**+ Bachelor's in Engineering or related field.+ 4-6+ years injection molding experience (medical preferred).+ Knowledge of polymers, process controls, and regulated environments.+ Strong data analysis and communication skills.**Preferred**+ Scientific Molding training and/or Master Molder certification.+ Experience with decoupled molding, project management, and technical reporting.+ Detail-oriented with a strong quality and continuous improvement mindset.This job description is a complete list of all desired skills but not all are required.
