Job Summary:Ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded efficiently, correctly identify, sort, and segregate materials, store and locate materials in proper locations, feed lines and properly log the correct inventory for production.Duties/Responsibilities Maintain safe and clean work environment Comply with company safety policies Scan and load finished goods onto trucks Review freight schedule and plan for material placement and delivery requirements Unload, sort, weigh, and document all inbound raw material Sweep out trucks after deliveries Feed all lines with raw material and properly load correct raw materials into the computer for processing Properly log in materials received and provide documentation to supervisor Claim finished goods, label, sort, and organize finished goods warehouse Sort, organize, and properly locate raw materials in outdoor storage Help others, when possible, in performing specific job responsibilities Remove empty pallets, empty trash bins, bale cardboard Maintain accurate inventory records through proper scanning, labeling, documentation, and material transactions. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, contamination concerns, or labeling issues to the supervisor. Support cycle counts, material audits, or inventory checks as needed.Required Skills/Abilities: Thorough understanding of all types of plastic Ability to follow written and verbal communication Ability to operate forklift safely without damage to equipment or facilities Work well in a team environmentEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent1 year experience in recycling or related experience, preferredMaintain current fork truck license or the ability to obtain a license upon hireReports To:Operations ManagerPhysical Requirements: Lift up to 50lbsMust be able to work in noisy, warm, or cold, environmentsThis role contributes to department performance by supporting safe material movement, inventory accuracy, production readiness, quality standards, and overall productivity.
