The company emphasizes excellence and innovation throughout publishing processes including editorial, design, marketing, publicity, sales, production, and distribution.About the OpportunityThe Developer, Applied AI role is focused on building, maintaining, and improving secure AI-enabled applications that enhance how internal teams access and utilize enterprise data. This position contributes by applying AI and cloud technologies to solve practical business problems, supporting existing applications, and developing new solutions aligned with evolving organizational needs.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and enhance AI-enabled backend applications using Python and Azure cloud services.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.Design and implement applications leveraging large language models, Azure AI services, and APIs.Support deployment, troubleshooting, and ensure security and maintainability of applications.Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.RequirementsMinimum 3 years of professional software development experience with strong Python skills.Experience developing and supporting production applications in cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure.Proficiency in building REST APIs and backend services using frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.Practical experience integrating generative AI or large language models into applications.Familiarity with AI application patterns such as prompt design, retrieval workflows, and document processing.Experience with Azure services including Functions, Azure OpenAI, Blob Storage, and related tools.Knowledge of AI frameworks like LangChain and tools for structured outputs.Experience with Git workflows, code reviews, CI/CD, and production troubleshooting.Working knowledge of SQL and enterprise data sources.Strong communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Pay Range and Compensation PackageThe pay range and compensation package for this role will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and other relevant factors.Equal Opportunity StatementOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
