Description Proposal Manager Wilson Engineers is an Arizona-based firm with over 200 professionals specializing in water and wastewater engineering and construction management services. We are seeking a full-time Proposal Manager to lead our proposal development efforts and support strategic marketing initiatives. This leadership role is based in our Tempe office and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in proposal management within the AEC industry. This is an on-site position and is not hybrid or remote. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities: Proposal Strategy & Management Lead and manage the full lifecycle of proposal development, including Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), RFPs, and interview preparation. Collaborate with firm leadership, technical staff, and marketing team to develop win strategies, compelling content, and ensure alignment with brand standards.. Oversee proposal deadlines, resource allocation, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Review all final proposal documents for compliance to ensure error-free documents for submission. Mentor and guide proposal staff, providing feedback and professional development support. Marketing Leadership & Collaboration Partner with the Marketing Manager to align proposal efforts with broader marketing and branding strategies. Contribute to the development of marketing collateral, digital content, and event planning. Analyze proposal outcomes and implement process improvements to increase win rates and efficiency. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum of 5+ years of experience in proposal management within the AEC industry. Must have above-average experience with executing competitive RFP/RFQ proposals Proven leadership experience in managing proposal teams or processes. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint). Strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Passion for high-quality deliverables and continuous improvement.
