Senior Management Consultant

Emergent Method is seeking a dynamic and experienced consultant to join our team as a senior strategy consultant. This role will involve leading and managing a variety of strategic initiatives and projects for the firm and its clients. This is a full-time position based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Remote candidates will be considered and are encouraged to apply.The ideal candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills, a strategic mindset, extensive experience in consulting, and a track record of providing strategic guidance and advice to clients, along with experience managing and delivering projects in a consulting environment. This individual should possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering superior results for clients.Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Lead and support a diverse range of client projects and engagements related to strategic planning, organizational and operational improvement, research and data analysis, meeting facilitation, consensus building, and strategic communicationUtilize advanced problem-solving skills to identify client needs, define goals and objectives, engage stakeholders, and develop comprehensive plans or deliverables that align with client goalsManage projects from inception to completion, including developing detailed project plans and timelines, establishing objectives, tracking action items and deadlines, and reporting progress on project milestonesDevelop high-quality client-facing deliverables, including plans, presentations, proposals, memos, and other documents, ensuring precision in language, formatting, and consistencyMaintain a deep understanding of a wide variety of subject matter related to client industries and apply this knowledge to drive project successPossess strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and complete tasks with minimal oversightServe as a trusted resource for clients, upholding the firm’s reputation by remaining client-focused and committed to delivering exceptional resultsMinimum qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree in any field is requiredThree to five years of experience in business management, management consulting, or a related field that demonstrates comparable knowledge, skills, and abilitiesProven ability to lead and support a diverse range of client projects and engagements related to strategic planning, organizational and operational improvement, research and data analysis, meeting facilitation, consensus building, and strategic communicationExperience with a major consulting firm in strategy-related disciplines is highly preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationshipsAbility to adapt to shifting projects and priorities, demonstrating versatility as a “utility” playerProactive approach to task completion, taking ownership of timelines and work productsWillingness to continually learn new skills and adopt new methodologiesStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPointWhy Emergent Method?At Emergent Method, we have a culture you won’t find anywhere else.
