Hear more about MGT’s culture in the words of our employees.What You’ll DoThe Accounts Receivable Clerk supports the Accounting Department by processing invoices, preparing reports, managing customer accounts, and providing general accounting and financial administrative support. This role works closely with internal teams and external customers to ensure timely and accurate receivables of processing and collections.Prepare weekly Accounts Receivable, Retention, Customer Status, SLD, and E‑Rate deadline reportsInvoice customers, SLD entities, and service request jobsMake collection calls related to lease customers, SLD, and service request workUpdate and maintain USAC Open Invoices spreadsheetsCost‑allocate new E‑Rate orders based on data received from the OA teamUpdate customer account details, including invoice distribution and email recipients, using information provided by the Project Management teamCoordinate correspondence between SLD and customers to support service certificationsProcess and distribute monthly customer statementsPrepare and email collection letters as neededMaintain and update E‑Rate tracking spreadsheetsPerform month‑end reconciliationsProvide backup support across the Accounting Department as neededAttend weekly Accounting Department meetingsWhat You’ll BringHigh school diploma requiredBachelor's degree is preferredOne (1) or more years of accounting experience preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional telephone etiquette and customer service skillsStrong problem‑solving abilitiesAbility to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersExcellent time‑management and organizational skillsWorking knowledge of basic accounting principles and practicesPhysical & Work RequirementsAbility to lift up to 10 poundsLocal travel may be requiredValid California driver’s license with a good driving recordActive car insurance requiredPre‑employment background check requiredWhat We OfferOur world-class work environment encompasses flexible and remote work options, a commitment to equity, and nationally respected teams in management consulting and technology services.
